An Investigation of US Navy Veteran Dentist Dr Thomas Chester Boring's unsolved murder will reopen soon.
Today July 28, 2021 I, Dr. Thomas Chester Boring's daughter, contacted the Greenwood Mississippi Police Department and I asked them reopen an investigation of my father's unsolved murder. Detective Gibson with the Greenwood Mississippi Police Department said he would look into my father's murder but refuses to get back to me about it doing so.
So now I have to petition the Leflore County Chancery Court to have them reopen his murder investigation and have an investigated because now when there wasn't before there is a suspect with my father's murder.
At least the Leflore County judge assigned to my case will know that I tried to have the Greenwood Mississippi Police Department reopen his murder investigation. If needed I'll just subpoena the police department for information about my father's cold case murder file because detective Gibson refuses to acknowledge if the file is even house with the Greenwood Mississippi Police Department or if it is closed or open.
My father's unsolved murder is known about and spoken about all over the world in magazine articles, portrait exhibitions and in films. I and my family are determined to get answers and I hope this blog will help us get the answers we so desperately desire regarding my father's unsolved murder.
To this day I and my family are still left wondering who is responsible and what was the motive for my father's murder. No suspect has of yet been identified.
The facts with my father's murder have been fabricated in many articles and in films. As a matter of fact his unsolved murder has been fabricated by his friend William Eggleston all over the world for money.
Unfortunately I have never spoken verbally to William Eggleston about my father and his unsolved murder because he refuses to speak to me about my father's life and unsolved murder that he's speaks about with photos he took of my father and his home in Greenwood, Mississippi.
One photo in particular that he uses with my father's murder is called The Red Ceiling formally known as (Untitled) Greenwood Mississippi 1973 by William Eggleston.
Here is another photograph of my father standing in the nude in his bedroom at 508 Macarthur St in Greenwood, Mississippi taken by William Eggleston.
William Eggleston has made two contradicting claims as to where these photos were taken when my father was murdered. I wrote about this on another blog and you're welcome to check it out. William has made two contradicting claims regarding my father's unsolved murder on this link called William Eggleston fabricated my father's unsolved murder with two different claims of where he was murdered.
I have spoken to anyone and everyone that knows about my father's murder but the one person who claims he knows about my father's murder refuses to speak to me about it. William Eggleston claims he knows of the murder weapon that murdered my father, but he's still refuses to speak to me about this murder weapon.
No murder weapon was ever recovered from the burnt out remains of my father's home at 103 Virginia Street in Greenwood Mississippi. Police chief James Stevens even refused to term my father's death as a murder in the beginning of the investigation surrounding the arson of his home.
My father was murdered in a house fire. On his death certificate it states he died of smoking halation, but William Eggleston has claimed all over the world in his films and portrait exhibitions that my father was murdered with a weapon. That weapon is supposedly an Axe.
Meanwhile William Eggleston and his family refuse to speak to me about the Axe they have been claiming murdered my father. They'd much rather keep making money off my father's unsolved murder, service in the United States Navy and his life with lies than speak to me about what they know regarding his unsolved murder.
I and my family are victims just as much as my father is a victim. I suffer everyday not knowing who murdered my father and knowing there is a man who's supposed to be my father's friend going all over the world making millions of dollars off fabricating my father's life and unsolved murder for money.
I hope my blog will bring Justice for my father and my family who's still mourning to this day his untimely passing.
Please after you read my blog and if you have any information about my father's unsolved murder I would like for you to give what you know over to the detective investigating Tom's unsolved murder.
I want to now share films that my father has been featured in. If you have seen my father in any of these films and have any information about his murder then I would like for you to please contact the Greenwood Mississippi police department and asked to speak to Detective Edgar Gibson.
You can give your information that you know about my father's murder over to the Detective Gibson because he is handling the investigation of my father's unsolved murder.
Dr. Thomas Chester Boring, Jr. was murdered at 103 Virginia Street in Greenwood Mississippi.
The reason Detective Gibson reopened up the investigation of my father's unsolved murder is because my father's police report about his murder is missing from the Greenwood Mississippi Police Department. The police report about my father's murder was burnt up in a fire where it was housed with other police reports at the Greenwood Mississippi Police Department.
The only other records currently available that speak about Tom’s unsolved murder are newspaper articles published in the Greenwood Mississippi Commonwealth. The first article was published on May 11th 1980. Below here is the first newspaper article about Tom's murder called Greenwood dentist dies in house fire.
Below here is the second newspaper article written in the Greenwood Mississippi Commonwealth called Police investigation of Boring's death continues published May 18, 1980.
Here is the last newspaper article that speaks about Tom's unsolved murder called Dr. Tom Boring's death still under investigation published May 10, 1981 in the Greenwood Mississippi Commonwealth Newspaper.
My father's unsolved murder is also spoken about in many films. One of those films is called Imagine The Colorful Mr. Eggleston published by BBC in London. Photographer William Eggleston speaks in this film about how my father was murdered with an axe to his head. Tom died of smoke inhalation because it states so on the back of his death certificate.
My father's unsolved murder is also spoken about at the National Portrait Gallery in London. Here is the You Tube video that speaks about his murder in a Mini Curators tour with Curator Phillip Prodger of the National Portrait Gallery in London.
Another film That speaks about Tom's unsolved murder is called Stranded in Canton. Stranded in Canton was published in 2005 and it was filmed by William Eggleston in Memphis Tennessee, Greenwood Mississippi and in parts of New Orleans in Louisiana.
I my mother Brenda Flowers and my father Dr. Tom Boring are both seen in this film below here called Stranded in Canton.
Below here is another film that speaks about my father's unsolved murder that was spoken about at the Whitney Museum in Los Angeles, California.
You see below here William Eggleston speak about my father's unsolved murder to Michael Almereyda.
Photographer William Eggleston was being interviewed by film Director Michael Almereyda in the film above here. On this occasion when Michael was interviewing William it was the opening of Eggleston's retrospective called William Eggleston : Democratic Camera, Photographs and Video. 1961 -2008 at the Whitney Museum of American Art in Los Angeles, California.
But not only do films speak about my father's unsolved murder, but articles and magazines have spoken about his murder as well. One essay in particular that slandered and fabricated Tom's service in the Military, life and unsolved murder and it also spoke about many people that I am unfamiliar with is called Perfectly Boring. Perfectly Boring was published in Oxford American Magazine on March 13, 2018.
If you know any of the people mention in the essay Perfectly Boring and have information about them and their connection somehow to my father's unsolved murder then please reach out to me or the Greenwood Mississippi Police Department and tell the detective investigating my father's murder what you know. Who knows you might be able to help solve my father's murder.
Not a day goes by that I don't think about my father's unsolved murder- especially during the Holidays when those memories of spending time with my father during Christmas and Holidays come rushing back.
All I and my family are asking for is closure. What you know might help solve my father's unsolved murder with any information that you provide to the detective investigating his murder.
